BuckVector privacy & experimental scouting
BuckVector is a Whitetail Intelligence Engine from Vector AI LLC.
This app provides experimental landscape hypotheses. Stand scores are relative engineering preferences, not verified encounter or harvest probabilities. Confirm permission, local rules, safe access, ground conditions and actual wind before using a plan.
Your records
Account holders can see their own properties, boundaries, observations and recommendation history. Public access to the app does not make those records public. GPS fixes are processed for the current request and are not retained as a GPS history.
This local edition stores records on this computer. Cloudflare storage and account deletion controls below apply only to the hosted edition.
Outside data services
Street-name and address suggestions send your search text to Photon (Komoot), using OpenStreetMap data. Research-area bounds also go to the configured OpenStreetMap/Overpass mapping provider for mapped roads, hedges, fences and buildings (Private.coffee in this local preview). Other address searches and geographic extents go to US Census, USGS and NOAA services to obtain maps, elevation, landcover and weather. The hosted sign-in form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse protection. The hosted release uses deterministic explanations; it does not send private field notes or locations to a generative AI service.
Deletion & recovery
Delete individual properties in the workspace. In the hosted edition, deletion hides records immediately and queues removal of their private files and records. Account deletion revokes access immediately. Cloudflare database recovery copies may retain deleted records for up to 30 days. Recovery codes are shown once after registration or password recovery; keep them in a password manager. There is no email-based password recovery.
